Tantalize Taste Buds with Margarita Lamb Tacos
If you’re like me, I know you’d rather spend your dollars on nutritious food keeping you healthy, rather than throwing money away on “healthcare” and prescriptions.
And after a long day working or volunteering, it can be overwhelming to figure out what’s for dinner.
I can help.❤️
This is one of my favorite quick, tasty lamb taco recipes—no fancy steps, no stress. Just real food from an animal you can feel good about feeding your family.
If lamb ever feels intimidating, this is the recipe to start with.
HERE is my favorite Taco Tuesday meal,
(Simple. Flavorful. Ready fast.)
Margarita Lamb Tacos
You’ll need:
2 lbs. Halbur’s Heavenly Hill ground lamb
¾ cup diced onions
2 taco seasoning packets or my Taco Seasoning
2 Tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon cumin
½-1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon red pepper
¾ cup of Margarita mix
3 Tablespoons lime juice
Taco toppings: cheese, diced tomatoes, black olives, lettuce/spinach/greens, sour cream, salsa, chips or tortillas (corn)
How to make it:
Sauté onions in fry pan, once caramelized add ground lamb or just cook onions with ground lamb, add taco seasoning, lime, and margarita mix. Cook until meat is browned.
That’s it. Dinner is done.
This is the kind of meal that lets you slow down for a moment—knowing exactly where your food came from, how the lamb lived, and that you’re feeding your family well.
